Social Harmony is the theme underpinning the entire programme.  Sharing skills, knowledge and culture through the partnership opens the door to building long lasting friendships and social harmony. Getting to know how people live, sharing family values and understanding each other helps break down barriers and helps build positive relationships.

Through giving talks to local groups, the Swansea Siavonga Partnership is helping to raise awareness and challenge perceptions on life in Zambia.

One Swansea student said, “I was amazed by the positivity of people in Africa and the aspirations they held.”
